3.3mm M12 Lens Wide-Angle for up to 1/2.7" sensors such as IMX290 and IMX662

The CIL036 is a 3.3mm M12 lens at F/2.2 for 1/2.7" sensors such as the Sony IMX290 and IMX662. It gives 89° horizontal field of view on a 6.4mm image circle, and distortion stays at -0.7% TV, which is low enough for most machine vision systems to run without dewarping.

This lens weighs only 4g and has 16.6mm total track length. That is why it fits compact camera modules where every gram and millimeter count. The 7.2mm image circle gives 1/2.7" sensors some margin, and the hybrid glass and plastic construction in an aluminum barrel helps the lens hold focus through thermal cycling.

The CIL036 resolves 3MP at 3μm pixel pitch. That is the real limit, so you should skip it if you need 8MP+ on a 1/2.7" sensor and look at the CIL033 instead. The lens is compatible with the Commonlands CLA018 M12 lens holder (7-10mm tall), e-con Systems S-mount boards, and Allied Vision Alvium cameras. FLIR Blackfly S and iDS uEye LE are not mechanically compatible. Basler Dart requires separate inquiry.
