18mm M12 Objektiv für Sensoren bis zu 1/2,5" wie AR0230 und AR0234

The CIL178 is an 18mm M12 telephoto lens for 1/2.5" sensors up to 2MP, including the ON Semiconductor AR0230 and AR0234. It gives you an 18° field of view across a 6.0mm image circle, which is what you want when the camera has to stand back and still isolate a small target. At F/2.0, the lens keeps more light than most compact telephoto options in this form factor.

The lens stays compact at 20mm total track length and 5g weight. Those numbers matter because telephoto M12 systems usually run out of package space before they run out of optical ambition. The glass and plastic hybrid construction sits in an all-metal aluminum barrel, and the distortion is +0.2% TV, which is effectively zero for most imaging tasks.

The available mechanical variant is M12A with no ingress protection, BBAR on lens 1 surface 1, and an AL6061 cap and barrel. Order CIL178-F2.0-M12A650 with the 650nm IRC filter for visible-light work, or CIL178-F2.0-M12ANIR without a filter for NIR-sensitive applications.

The CIL178 mounts on FLIR Blackfly S, Allied Vision Alvium, The Imaging Source, and Basler Dart board cameras. iDS uEye LE Rev1.2 requires part numbers ending in C-NO.
