The CIL436 covers 1/2.7\" sensors at up to 2MP with 3μm pixel pitch, projecting a 6.7mm image circle.
How much zoom range does the CIL436 provide?
2.5-3X optical zoom from 4mm to 9mm EFL. At 4mm you get 141° FoV. The lens narrows to a normal field of view at the 9mm end.
Is the CIL436 compatible with FLIR Blackfly S cameras?
Yes. The CIL436 is mechanically compatible with FLIR Blackfly S board-level cameras, Allied Vision Alvium S-mount, The Imaging Source M12, and Basler Dart S-mount.
What is the distortion on the CIL436 at the wide end?
At 4mm (wide), distortion is -65%. This is high barrel distortion typical of wide-angle zoom designs. If your application needs geometric accuracy at the wide end, a fixed-focal low-distortion lens is a better choice.
Does the CIL436 come with an IR cut filter?
Both options are available. Order CIL436-F2.0-M12A650 with the 650nm IRC filter for visible-light-only applications, or CIL436-F2.0-M12ANIR without the filter for NIR or dual-band setups.
