What sensors work with the CIL461 varifocal zoom M12 lens?
The CIL461 supports 1/2.7\" sensors at up to 2MP with 3μm pixel pitch. It covers a 6.6mm image circle across the full 6mm-42mm zoom range.
How much optical zoom does the CIL461 provide?
7X optical zoom, continuously adjustable from 6mm to 42mm EFL. Focus is set after gluing the lens in place. This is true optical zoom, not digital crop.
Is the CIL461 zoom lens compatible with FLIR Blackfly S or Allied Vision Alvium cameras?
No. The CIL461 barrel is too large for direct mounting on FLIR Blackfly S, Allied Vision Alvium, and iDS uEye LE boards. It works with e-con Systems standard S-mount holders (8-10mm tall) and the Commonlands CLA019 lens holder.
What is the distortion on the CIL461 at the wide end?
At 6mm (wide), the CIL461 has -10% F-Theta distortion. For machine vision requiring geometric accuracy, consider a fixed-focal M12 lens instead. The zoom is better suited to surveillance and general monitoring.
Does the CIL461 M12 zoom lens ship from the US?

Can the CIL461 be motorized for remote focus adjustment?
