50mm C-Mount lens for up to 1.2" sensors such as IMX541

CIL556 is a 50mm C-mount lens for 25MP sensors up to 1.2" format, including the Sony IMX541 and similar 2.74µm pixel pitch imagers. The aperture adjusts from F/2.8 to F/16, so you can stop down for more depth of field and corner sharpness or open up when light is limited.

Distortion is -0.02% from rectilinear, which is about as close to zero as you will find in a compact C-mount package. That makes the lens a strong pick for dimensional measurement, gauging, and any job where straight lines need to stay straight across the full 19.4mm image circle.

The lens uses all-glass optical construction and weighs 96g. The field of view is 17° at the full image circle, which is narrow enough for part inspection at moderate working distances from 250mm to infinity. You can use field of view calculator to confirm angular coverage on your sensor.

The lens uses the standard C-mount thread of 1"-32 TPI with 17.526mm flange distance. It is compatible with Basler ace, FLIR Blackfly, Allied Vision Alvium, IDS, and The Imaging Source cameras. It also works on CS-mount cameras with a 5mm spacer adapter.
