3.2mm Wide-Angle CS-Mount Lens for up To 1/1.7" such as IMX226 and IMX178

The CIL032 is a 3.2mm CS-mount lens with a 154° diagonal field of view on 1/1.7" sensors, resolving 12MP at F/2.0. It covers a lot of scene, which is why it makes sense for surveillance, robotics navigation, and area monitoring where blind spots matter more than edge geometry. The all-glass, all-aluminum construction weighs 54g, so the lens is heavier than an M12 option but easier to integrate when the camera already uses CS-mount.

Distortion is 12% TV, and that number tells you exactly what this lens is trading. It gives you extreme coverage, but it does not try to keep straight lines straight at the frame edges. The 9.3mm designed image circle covers 1/1.7" sensors like the IMX226 and IMX178 with margin, and you can use field of view calculator to check your actual angles.

The lens uses all-glass optics in an aluminum barrel. You can order CIL032-F2.0-CSA650 with the 650nm IR cut filter for daylight-only systems or CIL032-F2.0-CSANIR without a filter for NIR-sensitive setups. A third version, CIL032-F2.2-CSANIR, is available in CS-mount A configuration at F/2.2.

The lens works with e-con Systems boards using a 7–13mm tall mount, Allied Vision Alvium, FLIR Blackfly S, iDS uEye LE, The Imaging Source M12, D3 Engineering modules, and the Raspberry Pi High Quality camera. If you use iDS uEye LE Rev1.2, you need the part number ending in C-NO.
