2mm 190° Fisheye M12 Lens in a small form factor

CIL290 is a compact fisheye M12 lens built around a 1.9mm effective focal length and a 190° field of view. It covers a 1/2.7" format with a 5.8mm image circle and supports 3-5MP resolution with 2.2μm pixels. The F/2.2 aperture is a practical fit when you need very wide coverage without moving to a much larger lens body.

This design keeps fisheye mapping reasonably controlled for its class, with -9% F-Theta distortion at a 5.7mm image circle. That matters when you want a lens that stays wide while keeping angular behavior predictable across the field. It is a useful option for surround view, compact robotics, and doorbell-style cameras where scene coverage matters more than rectilinear rendering.

Mechanically, CIL290 is unusually small at 2g with a total track length around 12.3mm, so it fits space-constrained board cameras. The optical construction uses a hybrid glass/plastic design, and NIR correction makes it suitable for day/night systems that switch between visible and near-infrared illumination.

Two M12 variants are available. Both use BBAR on the first lens surface, and the M12A and M12B options give you a choice of plastic-barrel or aluminum-barrel packaging with IP67-rated sealing.
